Troubleshooting
I am running my PERCEUS master in VMware and my nodes can't get provisioned

To disable DHCP for a specific VMNet: (VMNet 1 in this example)
VMWare Server hosted on Linux
===============================
Edit the /etc/vmware/locations file and change the following lines
answer VNET_1_DHCP yes
to
answer VNET_1_DHCP no
VMWare Server hosted on Windows

System reboots when kexec is called
Submitted by gmk on Sat, 06/16/2007 - 7:14pm.There have been several reports that when kexec is called, the system doesn't boot the VNFS's kernel, rather it just reboots. This seems to be an incompatibility between kexec and the hardware configuration of the system. If this happens to you, send a detailed configuration to the maintainers of Perceus and we will follow up with the kexec maintainers.
Here is a list of some things to try before contacting us with a bug report:
- Run a memory test
- Try enabling the memory option for node interleaving in the BIOS configuration if your system supports that option.
