System reboots when kexec is called

There have been several reports that when kexec is called, the system doesn't boot the VNFS's kernel, rather it just reboots. This seems to be an incompatibility between kexec and the hardware configuration of the system. If this happens to you, send a detailed configuration to the maintainers of Perceus and we will follow up with the kexec maintainers.
Here is a list of some things to try before contacting us with a bug report:
- Run a memory test
- Try enabling the memory option for node interleaving in the BIOS configuration if your system supports that option.
- Experiment with another memory configuration
- Test with another system (same as well as different configurations if possible)
- Remove any un-needed PCI devices
- Confirm that you are running the correct architecture of VNFS capsule for the hardware your trying to boot
